The Fabriano paper mill in Italy, which has been operating since the late 13th century, holds recognition as one of the oldest paper mills in the world. Furthermore, it creates a base mold for Innova Fabriano Printmaking Rag IFA 107. Notably, it is also known as the birthplace of European papermaking. Famous artists have used the paper produced here, including Fabriano Printmaking Rag, for etching prints and drawings for many years, making it one of the most prestigious papers in Europe.<\/p>\n

Contemporary artists can now print their work on the same surface as the old masters. They use cotton rag fine art paper coated with an inkjet receptive layer. This paper has a soft grain matte surface, which adds a subtle texture to the printed surface. Additionally, it has a natural white tone that creates a neutral base. A mold-made process creates the base, resulting in a random pattern within the fibers. This process provides a slight variation in the surface pattern of different prints.
